The strengthening grooves mounted lengthwise in the ducts eliminate the problem of PVC ducts being pressed together.
The horizontal and vertical bends, as well as the ducts are provided with partitions and are fit together with a connector, so that the inner channels run through continuously from the beginning to the end of the channel system. This allows an easy cleaning e.g. using a pull wire and a pipe puller. The internal partitions in the bends improve the air conduction and reduce the air swirl which results in less resistance and noise.

Excellent stability

Reinforced duct When the ventilation system is incased in the concrete floor, as a fitter, you want to be sure that the ducting circuit will not be damaged or pressed together and that the ground stability will not be an issue. The liquid screen cannot flood into the ducts and the ducts should not float on the mortar. Therefore the elements have internal reinforcement to prevent from being pressed together.

The ducts have strengthening grooves mounted lengthwise. The accessories feature sliding fittings to ensure a perfect fastening and eliminate the risk of duct or accessory twisting. This avoids the mortar to penetrate.

The ducts are attached to the slab using snap rings, thus ensuring a rapid mounting and avoiding to have the ducts floating on the fresh mortar bed. No specific tool is required for the assembly. The ducts are easy to cut. The duct reinforcement technique also facilitates the operation (no deformation of the element during a cut).


Contrary to the metallic ducts, the Floorduct ducts do not require any additional coating for corrosion prevention. And they offer an extended life cycle. The building materials used and the humidity in the outgoing/exhaust air have no impact on them.

Low energy usage

Reinforced duct When gluing the ducts together, the system is fully sealed. Leaks in air circulation systems result in energy losses, as the fans need to move higher air flows for providing the same quantity of processed air.

Compared to less sealed installations, the power used by the fans is easily reduced by 20%. As the fans can operate at a lower speed consequently the noise level is reduced. The ducts and attachments have a smooth inner surface that ensures a low resistance.


A reduced environmental footprint

Reinforced duct We do not use new raw materials in the manufacturing of the Floorduct ducting system. The base material comes from the grinding of recycled PVC products (essentially PVC windows).

Multiple applications

The Floorduct ducting system has an operating temperature range from -20°C to +60°C, which allows it to be used in installations with either cold or hot air flow.

A low recessed height with reduced air resistance

Featuring a low recessed profile of 60mm, the system can be used anywhere. Whether they are installed under the floors or inside the ceilings, the ducts provide important space savings. Compared to round systems where the height determines the duct diameter, the recessed height is reduced by half.

At an air velocity of 5m/s, the air flow is 200m3/h for the 204x60mm size duct and 100m3/h for the 110x54m duct size. When the air velocity is reduced to 3.5m/s, the air flow for the final ducts rises to 150m3/h and 75m3/h respectively. These specifications are the most commonly used for residential ventilation.
